In the Italian language arrabbiata literally means "angry, furious". For Italian food this means: dishes with a hot flavour. Our organic Pesto Arrabbiata is also characterised by its fruity spiciness thanks to the inclusion of fiery organic chillies and carefully dried tomatoes.

Organic Byodo Pesto Arrabbiata is not only a perfect sauce with our pasta and a spicy sandwich spread, but also enriches meat and fish dishes in an excellent way.

Ingredients: Olives* in salt brine (green olives*, water, sea salt) sunflower oil* dried tomatoes* water red chili* (7,5%) extra virgin olive oil* garlic* sea salt cayenne pepper* *organically grown DE-EKO-013 / EU-/Non-EU-agriculture
Take ... 250 g wheat flour 250 g wholemeal wheat flour 1 tsp Byodo Atlantic Sea Salt 1 tbsp. sugar ½ p. dry yeast 1 jar Byodo Pesto Arrabbiata ¼ l water
Pesto Bread Preparation: Mix both flours well. Add salt, sugar, dry yeast, and Pesto Arrabbiata. Incorporate ¼ l water and knead the dough (dough should come off easily from the edge of the pan; if necessary add some more water). Cover the dough and leave it in a warm place to rise for approx. 20 minutes. Then knead the dough again by hand and form a flat dough-cake, dust the surface with flour, put it on a baking sheet and let it rest for another 40 minutes. Pre-heat the oven up to 180 °C, bake the pesto bread for approx. 50 minutes and allow to cool on a cooling rack.
