The De Carlo family is amongst the most acclaimed olive oil producers of Italy and the family´s roots in olive oil production date back as far as the 16th century. Already back in 1811 they were awarded with the title of “Mastri Oleari”, which means producers of high quality olive oils. For this prime oil only De Carlo uses only the olive types Coratina and Oligariola- typical for the region of Apulia. These especially sun-blessed olive types create intensely fruity oils. Their taste is elegant and contains aromas of green apples, fresh herbs, died fruit and sweet almonds. The finish is long and clear.
