Like our Coco Frost, it is a plant-based alternative to frozen yoghurt. But this time made out of the best organic Sicilian Almonds we could find. It’s made using five simple, plant-based ingredients. For the base, we use our delicious Almond Start, then to really take things to another level, we add roasted Sicilian Tuono almonds for an extra rich, nutty flavor.
Almond Frost contains agave syrup. Agave syrup is a type of sugar that comes from the nectar of agave plant and has a low glycaemic index (GI). We’d have preferred not to have used any sugar in our Almond Frost, but as far as we know, it’s not possible to make naturally ‘scoopable’ ice cream without some sort of sugar. So we went for agave syrup and even then, we only use a small amount to ensure a great texture.
Almond Frost is naturally free from dairy, gluten and soya. So it’s suitable for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores everywhere.
